The occupation authorities closed Ramiz Museum of Antiquities under the pretext of renovation construction

The deputy of cultural heritage appointed by the Iranian occupation authorities, Hakimullah Mousavi, said in a press meeting yesterday with the
“Khabargozarie Javan” agency, in answer to a question by a reporter for the reason of the closure of Ramiz Museum months ago, that the museum building is exposed to collapse and we decided to close the museum to renew the construction of the building.
This is another of thousands of crimes committed by the Iranian occupation authorities on Ahwaz heritage, and their attempts to blur Arab Ahwazi identity.
It is worth mentioning that building settlements for Persian people in different Ahwaz cities complete within weeks, but it takes over than four months for the Iranian government, to build one building for the museum in Ramiz, which is one of the most important museums of Ahwaz that contains most Eilamyin, Sassanid and Islamic Qajar Heritage and relics. This is in addition to the Ahwazi relics that have been stolen and sold on the black market by the Persians.
In Ahwaz the first human known civilizations, Elamite civilization, aroused and that is three thousand years BC. There are still relics and remnants of that civilization in Ahwaz soil that do not get any attention, for example Ziggurat, located near the city of Seuss northern Ahwaz.
